After the launch of the latest flagship Snapdragon 855 SoC at Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii, the world’s first smartphone with SD 855 is here.
The Lenovo has just announced the new Lenovo Z5 Pro GT with the latest chipset and 12GB of RAM. This is one of the most powerful smartphones in which one will get everything he/she can dream off at the present time. Inspired by the new OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, the Z5 Pro GT has a carbon fibre design at the back and in-display fingerprint sensor. Not only this, the Lenovo has implemented the Slider design with front cameras, earpiece and other sensors.
Starting with the display, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT has a 6.39-inch Super Amoled display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. With a big display and slider design, the phone has a 95.06% screen-to-body ratio which makes the phone look really great.
Coming to the specifications, the Lenovo Pro GT is powered by the latest flagship chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 which is built on 7nm technology and can provide up to 2.84GHz of clock speed. With SD 855, the Lenovo has given options to buy a variant with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage.
The Z5 Pro GT sports a 16MP + 24MP dual-camera setup at rear with dual LED flash and 16MP + 8MP dual camera setup for selfies. The phone comes with lots of AI-based camera options like AI Super Night Scene, AI wisdom noise reduction, etc. The phone houses a 3350 mAH battery and runs Android 9 Pie based ZUI 10.0.
The new Lenovo Z5 Pro GT will go on sale starting January 24, 2019. The lower variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at 2,698 Yuan (Rs. 27,600 approx). The other variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at 3,398 Yuan (Rs. 34,800 approx) and the higher variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at 4,398 Yuan (Rs. 45,000 approx).
The company has also announced a lower-end variant of the Z5 Pro GT i.e Lenovo Z5S. This phone is powered by recently launched Snapdragon 710 SoC, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The Z5S is priced at 1398 Yuan which is around 15,000 INR.
