Step 1: Go to Settings and tap on Do Not Disturb.
Step 2: Scroll down until you find DO NOT DISTURB WHILE DRIVING.
Step 3: Select Activate.
Step 4: Select the option that works the best for you.
1. Automatically
Selecting Automatically is by far the safest option if you don’t want to toggle between your preferences. But the only downside of the Automatically feature is that it will turn on every time you are riding a vehicle. Even that includes being in the passenger seat. You have to turn it off manually.
2. When Connected to Car Bluetooth
This is by far the most preferred option, given you have Bluetooth connectivity on your vehicle. The Do Not Disturb feature gets turned on, every time you connect your iPhone to your car’s Bluetooth.
3. Manually
Getting complete control over your choices, you can manually opt-in and out of the feature. Go to Settings > Control Center and click on the ‘+’ icon next to Do Not Disturb While Driving.
