The popular battle royale game PlayerUnkown’s battlegrounds (PUBG) has already set many records in the mobile gaming industry. In just a duration of one year and a few months, the game received immense love from players on Android.
However, it’s still an unknown fact that PUBG came into existence with PCs and later made its way to mobiles and gaming consoles. The biggest reason for being unsuccessful on PCs was — the entry cost and high-level hardware requirements.
But after waiting for a long time, PUBG Lite, a free to play version of PUBG is finally available in India. The beta servers of the game are now live for more than 200,000 players who had pre-registered for the game.

Though the PUBG Lite is also based on the PUBG Mobile, it comes with some important changes. The PUBG Lite players have started receiving an update that adds a new vehicle and makes some improvement in the behaviour of the flare gun.

Initial Impressions
In order to come up with more detailed initial impressions, I also asked my friend, a very active gamer for his opinions. PUBG Lite was running without any lag. You can easily get a ping of 10-20ms on WiFi and 90-120ms on mobile hotspot. It means servers are running well and capable of handling the excessive load.
Talking about the graphics, it’s good. You will get a similar experience as that of an original PC version. PUBG Lite comes with five graphics option namely: Very Low, Low, Medium, High, Ultra.
You can play the game in any quality according to the configuration of your PC or laptop. I suggest you start with Medium. The other features of this game are also same as of the original PC version. Some other updates include a much-improved flare gun and a new vehicle to Sanhok map.

Overall, the PUBG Lite is worth to try out. If you are someone who hasn’t played PUBG Mobile just because you don’t like to play mobile games, it’s time to turn ON your PC/Laptop and start fighting for your chicken dinner.
