There have been so many rumours about the naming of the upcoming iPhones. With the launch of iPhone X last year, the apple fans are now confused on what the new iPhones will be called. As far we know, Apple will launch the new iPhones on September 12 at Steve Jobs theatre. We are also expecting the launch of Watch series 4 at this event.
According to the latest report coming from Slashleaks, the new iPhones will be called as iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus and iPhone XC. The report also revealed some specifications and expected pricing of the phones.
Leaked Specifications of the Upcoming iPhones
Talking about the specifications derived from the new leaks, the iPhone X’s successor iPhone XS will come with 5.8-inch OLED display. The company will also launch a bigger variant of this phone with 6.5-inch OLED display. There will be also an affordable version of the iPhone arriving this year.
There are already a lot of rumours about the variants of the upcoming iPhones. I have found some portals who are saying the Apple’s Entry-level phone – iPhone XC might be a successor of iPhone SE or iPhone 8 and will be named as iPhone SE2 or iPhone 9. But, the latest report hints that the affordable iPhone will be called iPhone XC.
iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus & iPhone XC Price
The pricing also surfaced online with the latest report. The iPhone XS with a 5.8-inch display is expected to be priced at $1079 (Rs 78,000 approx). The iPhone XS with a 6.5-inch display will be priced at $1225 (Rs 88,000 approx). Lastly, the iPhone XC with a 6.1-inch display is tipped to be priced at $860 (Rs 62,000 approx). The analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, who’s often accurate at its assumptions on Apple products, also said that the upcoming entry-level iPhone will be priced between $600 – $700.
An image also surfaced online showing iPhones in three colours – red, white and blue. The picture also indicates that the Apple’s affordable iPhone will come with a single rear camera and glass back. The report also suggests that the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus and iPhone XC will be available in the U.S and few other markets starting from September 21.
