The Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi has finally ended the suspense. Although they didn’t reveal the model name, the tech experts have been able to find out what they are going to launch on 14th February. Yes, it’s Redmi note 5.
After the phenomenal success of Redmi note 4, customers are waiting to hear this good news from a long time. Redmi note 5 has expected to bring a lot of improvements as compared to the old model. There are many rumours about the camera of this phone. So let’s check out what should we expect from the next player of Redmi note series.
Redmi note 5 could come up with a 5.99-inch Full HD+ (1920 x 2160) with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The full-screen display with thin bezels improves the overall design of the smartphone. Till now, we don’t know the actual dimensions of the phone but leaks suggest that the Redmi Note 5 could be thinner than it’s old variant.

Redmi note 5 also seems strong as per the hardware. The smartphone is expected to come with Snapdragon 636 processor and coupled with 4GB of RAM. Xiaomi could launch this smartphone in 2-3 variants but the higher end will come with 64GB of internal storage.
There are many rumours about the primary camera of the phone. Few leaks suggest that the phone could sport two 12MP cameras while some suggest cameras will be of 12MP & 5MP. So, let’s wait till the launch to come up with a conclusion. There will be an 8MP front camera for taking selfies.
Other specs of Redmi note 4 include a fingerprint scanner on its rear, dual SIM with 4G VoLTE support. The phone is expected to powered by a 4000 mAH non-removable battery.
There are rumours that Xiaomi could launch this phone around Rs. 15,000 but it would be better to wait few days to get all kinds of confirmations.
