How to Go Live on Twitch from PC or Mac

In order to go live on Twitch directly from your PC or Mac, you would need dedicated broadcasting software. Free applications such as OBS work on both Windows and macOS. Similarly, you can also use Mac-specific applications including Ecamm Live as well. 

That being said, Twitch now offers its own free Twitch Studio application to broadcast directly from your PC or Mac. Step 1: First, head over to the link and download Twitch Studio from the official website.

How to Stream on Twitch from Xbox 

There is no native Twitch support for Box, so if you aspire to stream from Xbox, go to the Xbox Store and search for the official Twitch app, and install it. Follow the step-by-step guide on how to stream on Twitch from Xbox: 

Step 1: Once installed, run the Twitch app for the first time on your Xbox You will be prompted with a six-digit code, that you have to manually enter at twitch.tv/activate. You can easily activate using a PC or smartphone. 

Step 2: With Xbox, you can use any regular webcam and microphone. You can simply connect your external peripherals and enable them in settings. In order to fine-tune, go to Settings > Account > Privacy and Online Safety > Xbox Live Privacy > View Details and Customize. 

Step 3: Head over to Game Content and allow the two options namely ‘You can broadcast gameplay and ‘You can share content made using Kinect or another camera.’ Head over to the ‘Online Status and History’ tab, and under ‘Others can see if you’re online’ select ‘Everybody.

Step 4: Once you are all set up, select a title for your stream and launch your game to broadcast for your audience.
