Apple Watch Series 8: Specifications and Features

With the help of a brand new g-Force accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope, the Apple Watch Series 8 can identify a car crash. People will also be excited to notice a more prominent display, even on the new Apple Watch SE2. However, following the focus on health technology, it also has a heart rate sensor, support for a Medication app, multisport workouts, and sleep tracking to help you achieve your daily fitness goals.

Powered by the same S8 chip as the Apple Watch Series 8, the Watch SE2 is more efficient than its predecessor. It can track periods, detect crashes and falls, and easily do Active tracking.

To add to these fantastic features, it also provides support for Apple Pay, Family Setup, Fitness+, and Emergency SOS.

The Apple Watch SE2 also runs for about 18 hours on a single charge. Therefore, you can use it for longer sessions. The newest SEW variant comes in Silver, Space Grey, and Gold color options.

Pricing

Apple Watch Series 8 starts at $399 (₹31,800 approx) for the GPS Model. Whereas the Cellular Variant is priced at $499 (₹39,700 approx.).

On the other hand, the Apple Watch SE 2’s GPS variant is priced at $249 (₹19,800 approx.), and the Cellular Variant costs $299 (₹23,800 approx).

Availability

Both watches are available for preorder. Although, buyers will only get their hands on them starting September 16th, 2022.
