LG’s upcoming flagship smartphone, expected to be called LG V40 may come with a notched display and 5 cameras. Some of you might not be interested in the Notched display but the new 5 Camera system will definitely attract your attention. We are receiving various leaks and reports about this phone for a long time. The new renders are putting some light on the five-camera system.
As per the famous leakster Waqar Khan, the new LG V40 will come with a notched display with very thin bezels at the bottom. We have also seen a triple camera setup at the back along with flash and fingerprint sensor. As per the rumours, the primary camera will be a super-wide angle lens, the secondary will be a standard wide angle and there are no details about the third camera yet.
Talking about the front camera, there are two selfie cameras on the front. We are quite excited about the five- camera setup but actually, most of the features are still under cover. There are sources expecting that the dual cameras will be used for portrait effect like HTC U12.
LG V40 will sport a bigger screen-to-body ratio display. When compared with the previous model, the notched display will look more big and beautiful. The hardware of the phone is still unknown, but it is believed that the device will come with the top of the line Snapdragon 845 SoC along with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM. It may come packed with multimedia features as in the V30, Quad DAC for audio and a dedicated button to access Google Assistant.
There has been no information regarding the price and availability of the LG V40. The smartphone may come at a price higher than $899 (approx Rs 61000) and get launched at the beginning of IFA 2018, i.e., between August 31 and September 5.
