After the 41st Reliance AGM (Annual General Meeting), the Internet is flooded with the updates of JioPhone Exchange Offer also called Monsoon Hungama Offer. Here, the company is offering all the feature phone users an option to exchange their phones with JioPhone by paying an amount of Rs 501 which is refundable after 3 years of purchase. The offer was looking quite good and cheap till its terms and conditions revealed a new story.
At the time of launch, the Reliance Jio didn’t reveal the actual amount buyers will have to pay while exchanging their phones. According to Gadgets360, the new Jio Phone exchange offer also requires buyers to compulsorily pay Rs 594 for data and voice calls for six months along with Rs 501. This moves the effective price from Rs 501 to Rs 1,095.
Talking about the extra amount in detail, the Rs 594 is a sum of total six recharges of Rs 99. Reliance has launched this new Rs 99 pack exclusive to JioPhone. This pack provides unlimited voice calls, 0.5GB of 4G data per day and 300 SMS messages with a validity of 28 days. With the new JioPhone, you will get all these benefits for six months. Furthermore, the customers will also receive 6GB data voucher as a bonus worth Rs 101.

How to Exchange Old Feature Phone with the JioPhone?
You can exchange your JioPhone at any Jio authorised retail outlet by showing any 2G/3G/4G phone. But here, you should know that your phone must be less than 3 years old, in working condition and you must provide a compatible charger with it. With the new JioPhone, you will also get a new SIM card but you can also port your existing number if you want.
What are the Plans available for JioPhone?
Currently, there are two plans available for JioPhone – Rs 49 and Rs 153. The Rs 49 plan is a kind of trial plan mostly for users who interested in calling more than using the data. In this pack, you will only get 1GB monthly data. The other plan is of Rs 153 offering 1.5GB data per day. This is the most preferred plan by the users.
